Installation/advantages of our transistion trims
Advantages of our trims - All our transistion trims match perfectly to our laminate floors.
They can all be retro fitted (fitted after laying). There is no need to fit base plates
before laying the floor.
Scotia
Scotia is the most used transistion trim.
Its used around the perimeter walls to cover the expansion gap for floating floors.
It should be glued or pined to the wall (never fixed to the floor).
If pining to the wall fire directly with arrow. We recommend using a Paslode gun and 12mm brads. We also recommend a bead of glue.
